baliṃ datvā karmaśastraṃ ṭaṅkādikamathārcayet /
hutvātha śālitoyena astreṇa prokṣayecchilāṃ //
Having offered an oblation, one should then worship the working tools, such as the chisel. / Having made fire oblation, one should sprinkle the stone with rice water using the weapon-mantra.
