atha nārāyaṇaṃ madhye āgneyyāmambikāṃ nyaset /
nairṛtyāṃ bhāskaraṃ vāyau brahmāṇaṃ liṅgamīśake //

Or else one should place Nārāyaṇa in the center, Ambikā in the south-east, / the Sun in the south-west, Brahmā in the north-west, and a liṅga in the north-east;
