bhagavānuvāca
śālagrāmādicakrāṅkapūjāḥ siddhyai vadāmi te /
trividhā syāddhareḥ pūjā kāmyākāmyobhayātmikā //
The Lord said: / I shall declare to you the worship of the [stones] marked with discs such as the śālagrāma, for attainment. / Worship of Hari is of three kinds: with desire, desireless, and consisting of both.
