pūrvādāvatha vedādyair gāyatrībhyāṃ jitādinā /
praṇavenārcayet pañcānmudrāstisraḥ pradarśayet //
Then in the east and other [directions], with the Vedic [mantras] and others, with the two Gāyatrīs, with [the hymn] beginning with 'Jita', / and with the praṇava, one should worship afterwards; one should show the three ritual gestures.
