ālīḍhā nava(2) durgāḥ syuḥ sthāpyāḥ putrādivṛddhaye /
tathā gaurī ca caṇḍikādyā kuṇḍyakṣararadāgnidhṛk //
The nine Durgās should be in the ālīḍha posture, installed for the increase of sons and the rest. / Likewise, Gaurī, beginning with Caṇḍikā, holds a water-pot, rosary, tooth, and fire.
