etāḥ śmaśānajā raudrā ambāṣṭakamidaṃ(1) smṛtaṃ //
Bhairavī, having twelve arms, an embodiment of sacred knowledge. / These born in the cremation ground are fierce; this is remembered as the group of eight Mothers.
