tathā sumucchrayaṃ jñātvā piṇḍikāṃ pravibhājayet /
dvibhāgamucchritaṃ pīṭhaṃ vistāraṃ liṅgasammitam //
Likewise, having understood its full height, one should divide the pedestal; / the pedestal should be two parts in height and its width equal to the liṅga.
