calamaṅgulamānena dvāragarbhakaraiḥ sthitam(1) /
aṅgulād gṛhaliṅgaṃ syādyāvat pañcaśāṅgulaṃ //
A movable [liṅga] is measured by digits, while a stationary one is measured by cubits of the door and the sanctum. / A household liṅga should be from one digit up to fifteen digits.
