bhagavānuvāca
pratiṣṭhāpañcakaṃ vakṣye pratimātmā tu pūruṣaḥ /
prakṛtiḥ piṇḍikā lakṣmīḥ pratiṣṭhā yogakastayoḥ //
The Lord said: / I shall declare the fivefold consecration: the image itself is Puruṣa, / the pedestal is Prakṛti, Lakṣmī, and consecration is the union of the two.
