samudraṃ gaccha candanaistīrthamṛtkalaśena ca /
śanno devīḥ snāpayecca gāyatryāpyuṣṇavāriṇā(2) //

with "Go to the ocean...", with sandalwoods and a jar of sacred ford earth; / he should bathe it with "May the divine [waters] be auspicious for us...", and with the Gāyatrī and warm water;
