rājavaṃśastu kaikeyi bharatāt parihāsyate /
devāsure purā yuddhe śambareṇa hatāḥ surāḥ //
The royal lineage, O Kaikeyī, will be lost to Bharata. / Formerly, in the war between gods and asuras, the gods were slain by Śambara.
