nakhair vidārayantantāṃ kākantaccakṣurākṣipat /
aiṣikāstreṇa śaraṇaṃ prāpto devān vihāyasaḥ //
To a crow that tore her with its claws, he struck out its eye; / by the reed-missile, [though] it took refuge in heaven with the gods, [it was pursued].
