catvāro vā caturdikṣu sthāpanīyā garutmataḥ /
dhvajārohaṃ ca vakṣyāmi yena bhūtādi naśyati //
Or four [images of] Garuḍa should be installed in the four directions. / And I will explain the hoisting of the banner, by which evil spirits and the like are destroyed.
