bhagavānuvāca
samudāyena devādeḥ pratiṣṭhāṃ pravadāmi te /
lakṣmyāḥ pratiṣṭhā prathamaṃ tathā devīgaṇasya ca //
The Lord said:
I shall tell you comprehensively the consecration of the gods and other [deities]:
first, the consecration of Lakṣmī, and likewise of the group of goddesses.
