svastike maṇḍale 'bhyarcya śarapatrāsane sthitaṃ(2) /
lekhyañca likhitaṃ pustaṃ gururvidyāṃ hariṃ yajet //
Having worshipped on a svastika maṇḍala [the text] resting on a seat of reed leaves,
the text to be copied and the one already copied, the guru should worship Knowledge and Hari.
