guruṃ vidyāṃ hariṃ prārcya purāṇādi likhennaraḥ /
pūrvavanmaṇḍalādye(5) ca aiśānyāṃ bhadrapīṭhake //
Having thoroughly worshipped the guru, sacred knowledge, and Hari, a man should write the Purāṇa and the rest,
as before, in the maṇḍala and so forth, on an auspicious seat in the northeast.
