dvijāya pustakaṃ datvā phalasyānto na vidyate /
trīṇyāhuratidānāni gāvaḥ pṛthvīṃ sarasvatī //
Having given a book to a twice-born, there is no end to the fruit;
they speak of three transcendent gifts: cows, the earth, and Sarasvatī.
