daśādikṣu baliṃ dadyāt gandhapuṣpādinārcayet /
pratimāṃ tu samutthāpya maṇḍale vinyased budhaḥ //
He should present bali offerings in the ten directions and worship with perfumes, flowers, and the like;
and the wise man, having raised up the image, should place it in the maṇḍala.
