kuryād dhyānārcanaṃ homaṃ harerādau ca karmasu /
sahasraṃ vā śataṃ vāpi homayet pūrṇayā saha //
One should perform meditation, worship, and fire oblation to Hari at the beginning of the rites;
one should make fire oblations a thousand or a hundred times along with the final full oblation.
