ghṛtenābhyarjya codvartya snapayenmūlamantrataḥ /
gandhādyaiḥ pūjayedvahnau hutvā pūrṇāhutiṃ caret //
Having anointed with ghee and rubbed [the image] with fragrant paste, one should bathe it with the root mantra. / One should worship it with perfumes and other offerings, and having made fire oblations in Agni, perform the final oblation.
