sarvātmanā samuddhṛtya punastenaiva pūrayet /
śirasā payasastīre nidhāyāstreṇa śodhayet(2) //
having taken it up completely, one should fill it back with the same [earth]. / Placing it on the bank of the water by the head [mantra], one should purify it with the weapon [mantra].
