tataḥ śivātmakair mantraiḥ kṛtvā tīrthaṃ śivātmakaṃ /
mārjanaṃ saṃhitāmantraistattoyena samācaret //
Then, having consecrated the sacred ford in the form of Śiva with mantras identified with Śiva,
he should perform sprinkling with that water using the Saṃhitā mantras.
