nītvā tadupanāsāgraṃ dakṣapāṇipuṭasthitaṃ /
bodharūpaṃ sitaṃ toyaṃ vāmamākṛṣya stambhayet(2) //
Having brought near the tip of the nose that white water embodying consciousness,
situated in the hollow of the right hand, he should draw it in through the left [nostril] and retain it.
