uttare hāñca yakṣebhya īśāne hāṃ grahebhya u(2) /
agnau hāmasurebhyaś ca rakṣobhyo nairṛte baliḥ //

in the north, 'hāṃ to the Yakṣas'; in the north-east, 'hāṃ to the Planets'; / in the south-east, 'hāṃ to the Asuras'; and the food offering is to the Rakṣases in the south-west;
