īśvara uvāca
kapilāpūjanaṃ vakṣye ebhirmantrair yajecca gāṃ /
oṃ kapile nande namaḥ oṃ kapile bhadrike namaḥ //
Īśvara said:
I shall explain the worship of the brown cow (kapilā); one should worship the cow with these mantras:
"Om, obeisance to the brown cow, Nandā! Om, obeisance to the brown cow, Bhadrikā!
