prokṣaṇādyaṃ(2) vidhāyātha yajñasambhārakṛnnaraḥ /
mantrayeddarbhadūrvādyaiḥ puṣpādyaiś ca hṛdādibhiḥ //
having performed sprinkling and other rites, the person preparing the sacrificial materials / should consecrate them with kuśa grass, dūrvā grass, and the like, with flowers and other offerings, and with the Hṛdaya and other [aṅga-mantras].
