adhiropya pavitrāṇi kalābhirvātha mantrayet /
ṣaḍaṅgaṃ brahmamūlair vā hṛddharmāstrañca yojayet //
and having mounted the sacred threads, he should consecrate them with mantras by means of the parts; / or with the six limbs, the basic Brahman mantras, he should join the heart, dharma, and weapon.
