natvā gaṅgāvatārantu prārthayettaṃ kṛtāñjaliḥ /
tvaṅgatiḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ saṃsthitistvañcarācare //
Having bowed, one should indeed pray with folded hands to Him who brought down the Gaṅgā: / "You are the refuge of all beings; You are their abode in the moving and unmoving.
