īśvara uvāca
vākṣyāmi bhogamokṣārthaṃ dīkṣāṃ pāpakṣayaṅkarīṃ /
malamāyādipāśānāṃ viśleṣaḥ kriyate yayā //
Īśvara said: / I shall declare initiation, which brings about the destruction of sin, for the purpose of worldly enjoyment and liberation, / by which the separation of the fetters of impurity, māyā, and the rest is effected,
