duḥkhapradoṣamoṣāya śastreṇāṣṭādhikaṃ śataṃ /
hutvā hūṃ sampuṭenaiva vidadhyāt mantradīpanaṃ //
To destroy faults that bestow distress, having offered one hundred and eight [oblations] / with the weapon-mantra, enveloped with "hūṃ", he should perform the illumination of the mantra.
