āvāhyābhyarcya santarpya śiṣyaṃ vakṣasi tāḍayet /
oṃ hāṃ hāṃ haṃ phaṭ(2)praviśedapyanenaiva caitanyaṃ vibhajettataḥ //
having invoked, worshipped, and gratified them, one should strike the disciple on the chest. / With 'oṃ hāṃ hāṃ haṃ phaṭ' one should enter, and then divide consciousness.
