īśvara uvāca
sandhānaṃ śāntyatītāyāḥ śāntyā sārdhaṃ viśuddhayā /
kurvīta pūrvavattatra tattvavarṇādi tad yathā //
The Lord said: / One should perform the junction of Śāntyatītā together with the purified Śānti / as before; there the principles, phonemes, and so forth are as follows:

oṃ hīṃ kṣauṃ hauṃ hāṃ iti sandhānāni
"Oṃ hīṃ kṣauṃ hauṃ hāṃ"—these are the junctions.
