pitrorāvāhanaṃ pūjāṃ kṛtvā tarpaṇasannidhī /
hṛtsampuṭātmavījena śiṣyaṃ vakṣasi tāḍayet //
Having performed the invocation and worship of the [divine] parents and libation in their presence, / he should strike the disciple on the chest with his own seed-syllable enclosed by the heart [mantra]:
