rāmadūto rāghavāya sītāṃ dehi mariṣyasi /
rāmabāṇair hataḥ sārdhaṃ laṅkāsthai rākṣasair dhruvam //
"I am the messenger of Rāma. Give Sītā to the descendant of Raghu, [or] you will die, / surely slain by Rāma's arrows together with the rākṣasas dwelling in Laṅkā."
