hrīṃ vījāḥ praṇavādyāḥspur namo 'ntā yatra pūjane /
mantrā viṃśatisāhasrāḥ śataṃ ṣaṣṭhyadhikaṃ tataḥ //
Having the seed-syllable 'hrīṃ', preceded by the praṇava, and ending with 'namaḥ', wherever [used] in worship,
the mantras are twenty thousand, one hundred and sixty in number.
