śatārdhaikādhikaiḥ kādyais tathā ṣoḍaśabhiḥ kharaiḥ /
kādyaistaiḥ sasvaraisādyaiḥ kāntair mantrās tathākhilāḥ //
With the fifty-one [letters] beginning with ka, and likewise with the sixteen vowels,
with those beginning with ka accompanied by vowels, ending in ka, all mantras [are formed].
