ghṛtābhyaṅgena devānāṃ bhasmībhavati pāvake /
āḍhakena ghṛtādyaiś ca devān snāpya suro bhavet //
becomes ashes in the fire by anointing the deities with ghee.
Having bathed the deities with an āḍhaka measure of ghee and the like, one becomes a god.
