pāṣāṇānāṃ śilāḥ kāryā iṣṭakānāṃ tadardhataḥ /
prāsāde 'śmaśilāḥ śaile iṣṭakā iṣṭakāmaye //
The stones should be made of rock, or of brick [at] half of that [size]
In a stone temple they are stone slabs; in a brick [temple], made of brick.
