brahmā viṣṇus tathā rudra īśvaraś ca sadāśivaḥ /
ete ca pañca mūrtīśā yaṣṭavyāstāsu(1) pūrvavat //
Brahmā, Viṣṇu, likewise Rudra, Īśvara, and Sadāśiva; / and these five lords of forms are to be worshipped upon them as before:

oṃ pṛthvīmūrtaye namaḥ / oṃ pṛthvīmūrtyadhipataye
brahmaṇe namaḥ / ity ādi mantrāḥ
‘Oṃ, homage to the Earth-form! Oṃ, homage to Brahmā, the presiding lord of the Earth-form!’—such are the mantras.
