īśvara uvāca
tataḥ prāsādamāsūtrya vartayedvāstumaṇḍapaṃ(5) /
kuryāt koṣṭhacatuḥṣaṣṭiṃ kṣetre vedāsrake same //
The Lord said: / Then, having demarcated the ground for the temple with cords, one should mark out the site architecture pavilion. / In a square, level plot, one should make sixty-four squares.
