ghṛtaṃ guḍaudanaṃ śeṣe rogāya ghṛtamaṇḍakān /
lājān vā paścimāśāyāṃ devāṣṭakamitīritaṃ //
clarified butter and jaggery-rice to Śeṣa, and flatbreads cooked in clarified butter to Roga, / or parched grain. Thus are declared the eight deities in the western direction.
