aryamṇe dakṣiṇāśāyāṃ pūpān kṛsarayā yutān /
jambhakāya(7) ca vāruṇyāmāmiṣaṃ rudhirānvitaṃ //
To Aryaman in the southern quarter [one should offer] cakes mixed with rice cooked with sesame and pulses, / and to Jambhaka in the western quarter, meat accompanied by blood.
