īśvara uvāca
īśādiṣu carakyādyāḥ(5) pūrvavat pūjayedvahiḥ /
āhutitritayaṃ dadyāt pratidevamanukramāt //
The Lord said: / Outside, in the directions beginning with the northeast, one should worship Carakī and others as before; / one should offer three oblations in sequence for each deity.
