añjayellakṣmakṛt paścācchāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā /
kṛtakarmā ca śastreṇa lakṣmī śilpī samutkṣipet(9) //
The maker of the marks should then apply collyrium according to the procedure prescribed in scripture. / And when the work has been done with the tool, the artisan should remove the [effigy of] Lakṣmī.
