dravyaiḥ stutyādibhistuṣṭamarcayet(9) puruṣāṇunā(10) /
samācamya(11) hṛdā devaṃ brūyādutthīyatāṃ prabho //
he should worship [the deity] pleased by substances, praises, and so on, with the Tatpuruṣa mantra. / Having sipped water, he should say to the deity with the heart mantra: "Arise, O Lord!"
