utthāpyoktāsane liṅgaṃ śirasā pūrvamastakaṃ /
samāropya nyasettasmin(4) sṛṣṭyā dharmādivandanaṃ(5) //
having raised the liṅga upon the stated seat, with the head [facing] east, / having mounted it, he should deposit upon it, in the order of creation, the homage to Dharma and the rest.
