janmādyasya yato 'nvayāditarataścārtheṣvabhijñaḥ svarāṭ . tene brahma hṛdā ya ādikavaye muhyanti yat sūrayaḥ .

He from whom are the creation and so forth of this [universe], directly and indirectly, who is omniscient in all matters, self-luminous, who revealed the Veda through the heart to the first sage, over whom even the wise are bewildered,
