brāhmaṇaiḥ kṣatrabandhurhi gṛhapālo nirūpitaḥ /
sa kathaṃ tadgṛhe dvāḥsthaḥ sabhāṇḍaṃ bhoktum arhati //
34. Indeed, a Kshatriya wretch is regarded by the Brahmins as one fit only to keep watch at the gate. How is he who can only stand at the door of their houses fit to eat out of the same pot?
