1.18.43

alakṣyamāṇe naradevanāmni rathāṅgapāṇāvayam aṅga lokaḥ /
tadā hi caurapracuro vinaṅkṣyatyarakṣyamāṇo 'vivarūthavat kṣaṇāt //

43. O child, if Vishnu, the wielder of Chakra, under the name of king should not be present, this world would (then) in a moment become infested with thieves, and, undefended, come to ruin, like a flock of sheep.
