tasyaiva me 'ghasya parāvareśo vyāsaktacittasya gṛheṣvabhīkṣṇam /
nirvedamūlo dvijaśāparūpo yatra prasakto bhayam āśu dhatte //

14. * To me, so sinful, so deeply attached to the house (i.e. wordly things), the Lord of lords has come in the form of the Brahmin’s curse, which is the cause of renunciation; for, under such a curse the person full of attachment, is soon filled with fear.
